A strategic conference analysing trends and opportunities in the network planning arena. – “How Can Airports Effectively Co-operate To Jointly Develop New Route Propositions?”
BASEJUMPING is a new type of session which will be entirely devoted to specific LCC’s. The session leads off with an examination of route development opportunities from an airline’s senior network planner (or in some cases the CEO).
Each session then progresses to a series of “Base Development Studies” presented by a selection of the featured airline’s base airports on where they see the most promising new links (and any advantages that can be exploited to make these services happen).
The following low-cost carrier representatives will participate in a BASEJUMPING session exclusively centred on their airline.
Alex Cruz, CEO, Vueling
Ken O’Toole, Director of Route Development, Ryanair
A high profile speaker from transavia.com to be confirmed
Delegates will also see presentations from other leading airlines including US Airways, Iberia and our very own Ralph Anker, Editor, anna.aero who will be chairing the entire conference and providing analysis throughout.
Don’t miss out on “BASEJUMPING” at the 2nd Joint ACI EUROPE/anna.aero Network Planning Marketplace where you will hear the route development opportunities from leading airline’s senior network planners. Hosted by Aena Spanish airports, 23-25 November 2009.
EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT MUST END TODAY – SAVE 25% BY BOOKING TODAY.
Also incorporating “The Airport Exchange at Airport Exchange”
An entire half-day of the event will also be devoted to “The Airport Exchange At Airport Exchange” – an opportunity for airports to engage with other airports to discuss jointly developing new route propositions. Many airports market the potential of a new city pair without even talking to the airport at the ‘other end’ of a hoped-for service, let alone cooperating to present a single, joined-up business plan. However, prior to arriving at “Airport Exchange At Airport Exchange” registered airport delegates will be able to use an online meeting system to coordinate specific times to meet other airports one-2-one in a dedicated area to talk about new route business plans.
