flydubai to start seven weekly flights to fast-growing airports: Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkiv from September
Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, flew into Kiev to announce his airline’s entry into the fast-growing Ukraine airport market with new routes from Dubai to Kiev (3-weekly), Donetsk (2) and Kharkiv (2) starting mid-September. Kiev Borispol’s traffic soared 16% last year to 6.7 million. Ukraine will co-host (with Poland) next year’s EURO 2012 football championships and has been busy upgrading its airport facilities – flydubai will operate from its recently-opened Terminal F at Kiev’s Borispol airport.
