nasair launches new routes to Islamabad in Pakistan from Saudi Arabia
nasair, the Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier, continued expanding in the Pakistani market. The airline now serves the country capital Islamabad (ISB) from its two Saudi bases. On 14 July, the airline began operating four weekly flights from Riyadh (RUH), followed the next day by three flights a week from Jeddah (JED). Both routes are operated with 180-seat A320s. Islamabad is nasair’s third destination in Pakistan after Karachi and Lahore; the latter which only launched earlier this month. At Riyadh, the new route faces competition from Saudi Arabian Airlines’ three and PIA’s two flights a week, while at Jeddah, PIA operates three and Saudi Arabian Airlines two weekly flights.
