Etihad was welcomed to Male in the Maldives where a ribbon was cut for the airline’s new Abu Dhabi route.
The next day, the routine was the same for another Indian Ocean island nation. Etihad now also flies to Mahé in the Seychelles.
- Etihad expanded its Abu Dhabi (AUH) network with new routes to two island nations in the Indian Ocean in the last week. On 1 November, the airline began operating daily to Malé (MLE) in the Maldives and the following day, the airline launched four weekly flights to the Seychelles (SEZ). Both new routes are served with A320 aircraft.
