- Last week saw the launch of Norwegian’s first services to Cologne/Bonn (CGN) in Germany, from its main base at Oslo (OSL). Flights will operate three times weekly (with a fourth frequency from July) and in effect replace the airline’s services to nearby Düsseldorf that were dropped at the end of the winter season. In addition, Norwegian has added five more routes from Oslo Torp (TRF); one domestic route, one to Germany, and three ‘leisure’ routes to Antalya (AYT), Nice (NCE) and Palma de Mallorca (PMI). Only on Palma does the airline face direct competition with Ryanair also providing two weekly flights.
