British Airways resumes services from London Heathrow to Bologna

  • On 29 April, after a decade, British Airways reinstated flights to Bologna (BLQ) in northern Italy from its London Heathrow (LHR) hub. The 1,200-kilometre route will be served daily and complements the airline’s 18 weekly frequencies offered from London Gatwick. The route will be operated with mixed equipment from the A320 family. Indirect competition at Gatwick comes from easyJet’s daily flights and at Stansted, Ryanair’s also daily operations.
