Flybe launches new route from Glasgow to Leeds/Bradford as bmi withdraws
On 8 May, Flybe’s franchise carrier Loganair launched services from Glasgow (GLA) to Leeds/Bradford (LBA), which replace the long-standing bmi service. Twice-daily departures each weekday are offered, with further weekend frequency to be introduced beginning of September. Loganair’s COO Jonathan Hinkles said: “Loganair’s formula will re-vitalise this crucial air service between Scotland and West Yorkshire and help to ensure that business links between these regions are maintained and developed.” Loganair will operate the route with 34-seat Saab 340B aircraft.
