Hainan Airlines launches new route to Singapore from Taiyuan

Hainan Airlines’ new international, stopping route was welcomed in Taiyuan in northern China. The airport now has a link with Haikou on the tropical island of Hainan, continuing onwards to Singapore.

  • Hainan Airlines launched a new international route on 11 May when the airline began operating from Taiyuan (TYN) in northern China via Haikou (HAK) on the island of Hainan to Singapore (SIN). Flights operate four times weekly with 737-800 aircraft. While the domestic sector is uncontested, the route between Haikou and Singapore is operated in competition with the Singaporean low-cost airlines’ Tiger Airways’ five and Jetstar Asia’s four weekly flights.
