British Airways CityFlyer launches new holiday routes to France
- British Airways CityFlyer continued expanding its summer leisure offering out of London City (LCY) by adding to new routes to France. On 29 May, the airline began operating thrice-weekly to Angers (ANE) in the Loire Valley and the following day twice-weekly to Quimper (UIP) in Brittany. Neither of the northwestern French destination airports have other international services. Both routes are operated with the airline’s 76-seat E-170 aircraft; the Angers route until 6 October and Quimper until 9 September. Luke Hayhoe, BA CityFlyer’s GM Commercial, said: “We are very excited about the new routes which are completely new destinations for London City Airport and offer our customers even more holiday choices.”
