Ural Airlines launches new routes from Russia to Barcelona and Cyprus
- The Russian carrier Ural Airlines launched three new routes to the Mediterranean at the end of May; each operating once a week with the airline’s A320 aircraft seasonally until September/October. On 29 May, the airline, which was analysed by anna.aero last October, launched two routes to Barcelona (BCN) in Spain; from Krasnodar (KRR) and Mineralnye Vody (MRV) in southern Russia. On 31 May, the airline also began serving Paphos (PFO) in Cyprus from Krasnodar. Of the three new routes, the only to face competition is the service between Krasnodar and Barcelona, which Yakutia Airlines also operates once a week.
