- United added a domestic US destination to its network on 14 June when United Express launched a route from its Newark, NJ (EWR) hub to Nantucket, MA (ACK). Flights on the 350-kilometre route operate seasonally 19 times weekly with CommutAir’s 37-seat Q200 and 50-seat Q300 aircraft until 27 August. Although the airline faces no direct competition, indirect competition at New York JFK comes from Delta’s 12 and jetBlue’s 11 flights a week.
