Ethiopian Airlines launches new route to Somaliland

• Ethiopian Airlines expanded its regional network in East Africa on 1 July when the Star Alliance airline added Berbera (BBO), the port city in Somaliland, to its network out of its Addis Ababa (ADD) hub. The 700-kilometre route is operated daily with Q400 aircraft; three times a week in the mornings and four times weekly in the afternoons. Notably, this is Ethiopian Airlines’ only route to Somalia.
