ANA was welcomed back to Delhi with a cake. The celebrations for the new route between the capitals of Japan and India also included a sake-drinking ceremony.
- ANA All Nippon Airways has relaunched services to Delhi (DEL) in India. On 28 October, the Japanese Star Alliance member began operating daily flights from its Tokyo Narita (NRT) hub, using 202-seat 767-300ER aircraft. This is the airline’s second route to India after Mumbai. ANA last served Delhi in 2001, when it operated via Bangkok, and now faces competition from JAL’s also daily flights as well as Air India’s five operations a week.
