Avianca Ecuador launches new route from Guayaquil to Cali in Colombia

• Avianca Ecuador, the airline previously known as AeroGal, launched a new route between Ecuador and its parent company’s home country, Colombia, on 23 October. From Guayaquil (GYE), Ecuador’s largest city, the airline now flies three times weekly to Cali (CLO) in western Colombia using 120-seat A319 aircraft. The route is also operated twice a week by sister airline TACA Peru.
