Darwin Airline launches routes to Lampedusa and Pantelleria from Sicily

  • Darwin Airline took over the Italian domestic PSO routes between Sicily and the Pelagie Islands, which are located between Malta and Tunisia, on 28 October. Using 50-seat Saab 2000 aircraft, the Swiss airline now flies from Palermo (PMO) to Lampedusa (LMP) and Pantelleria (PNL), as well as from Trapani (TPS) to Pantelleria. Each of the three routes is operated twice-daily. Before Darwin Airline was awarded the routes, they were operated by Meridiana fly.

Yahoo… Meridianna will NOT be missed, they were truly terrible. I am an American artist living on Pantelleria and we all welcome Darwin Airlines to our new, beautiful airport. This is good news.
