Over 160 passengers were travelling on the first flight between Novosibirsk in Russia and Sharjah in the UAE and got to enjoy the desert-themed cake that was cut by airline and airport staff along with Gregory Pomerantsev, Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport’s Commercial Director, Alexader Losev, Director of Pegas Touristik in Novosibirsk.
- The Russian airline Orenair began operating a long haul route in cooperation with the tour operator Pegas Touristik on 23 October. From Novosibirsk (OVB), Siberia’s largest city, the airline now flies once a week (although on varying days of the week) to Sharjah (SHJ) in the United Arab Emirates with its 737-800 aircraft.
