Valentin Zheludkov, Head of S7's operation in Novosibirsk; and Gregory Pomerantsev, Novosibirsk Airport’s Commercial Director, cut the inaugural cake – themed on the Hong Kong flag – for S7’s new service to Hong Kong.
- S7 added services on the 4,500-kilometre route from Russia’s third-most populous city, Novosibirsk (OVB), to Hong Kong (HKG), which it already serves from two destinations in the Russian Far East, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. Twice-weekly flights from the Siberian city are now offered and will be operated with 737-800 by S7’s subsidiary, Globus.
