Cutting the inaugural cake in Orlando to celebrate the launch of TAM’s second route to the city were: Jason Pirozzolo, Vice Chairman, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Board; John Martinez, Commissioner, Orange County; Pablo Chiozza, LATAM’s VP North America, Canada & Caribbean; Tony Ortiz, Commissioner, City of Orlando; and Phil Brown, Executive Director, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
- TAM inaugurated daily flights from Rio de Janeiro (GIG) to Orlando, FL (MCO) on 29 October. The new service, which comes on top of the airline’s twice-daily link to the Florida airport from São Paulo Guarulhos, will be operated using 223-seat A330-200s in a three-class layout.
