VietJet Air launches second route to Da Nang in central Vietnam

• VietJet Air, the Vietnamese low-cost airline, continued expanding its domestic network. On 28 October, the airline began operating on the route between the country capital Hanoi (HAN) in the north of the country and Da Nang (DAD), gateway to Central Vietnam and a centre of the country’s booming coastal tourism industry. The airline, which already serves Da Nang from Ho Chi Minh City, now operates the new route twice a day with its 180-seat A320s. Competition comes from Vietnam Airlines’ 59 weekly flights.
