Celebrating the return of Aeromexico’s link between Mexico City and Dallas/Fort Worth were the Mexican airline’s Monica Malanco, Corporate Account Manager; Jaime Bernal, International Airport Services Director; Jenny Jenks, Market Manager SAT; and Jose Luis Velazquez, International Maintenance Director. Meanwhile, passengers in the Texan airport’s terminal were treated to performances by a Mariachi band and Mexican food.

  • Aeromexico resumed flight on the route from Mexico City (MEX) to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (DFW) on 5 November. The 1,500-kilometre trans-border route was previously operated by the Mexican carrier with varying frequencies until it was eventually dropped in January 2006. The relaunched operation involves twice-daily services, and sees MD80s being replaced with E-190s. Competition on the route comes from American Airlines, which operates 42 weekly flights between the Texan city and the Mexican capital.
