Ak Bars Aero adds two domestic routes, one each from Moscow Domodedovo and Nizhny Novgorod
Ak Bars Aero expanded its domestic network with two new routes, on 30 and 31 October respectively. The Russian airline, which uses a fleet of eight 50-seater CRJ200s for its scheduled operations, commenced flights from Moscow Domodedovo (DME) to Kirov (KVX), a major road and rail transportation hub located west of the Urals along the Trans-Siberian Railway. On the following day, Ak Bars Aero also launched services from Nizhny Novgorod (GOJ), only 380 kilometres east from Moscow, to the primary gateway to the Russian Caucasus, Mineralnye Vody (MRV). Both routes are operated with weekly frequencies.
