Lufthansa adds two routes to its Berlin Tegel network; strengthens Düsseldorf with three new destinations

  • Lufthansa expanded its presence at two German airports, Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Düsseldorf (DUS) in the first days of November. All of the five new routes will be served with low frequencies and operated with the airline’s fleet of A320s. airberlin competes on three routes, although also with low frequency. Notably, Düsseldorf saw the launch of services to Tel Aviv (TLV), which Lufthansa serves also from Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin Tegel.
