
Carcassonne welcomed the return of non-stop services to Paris last week, with the arrival of Ryanair’s inaugural service from Paris Beauvais. Air Liberté served the Carcassonne to Paris market before its demise in 2001.
- Ryanair increased its offering from Maastricht (MST) last week and now flights to eight destinations from the Dutch airport, which is also the airline’s first base in the country. The pan-European ultra-low cost carrier also launched services to the newly opened Lublin (LUZ) is eastern Poland, becoming the first airline to use the new facility (as in the case of another Polish airport launched this year, Warsaw Modlin, Ryanair outpaced competition – Wizz Air inaugurated its Lublin operation a day later).
