VietJet Air launches new domestic route from Ho Chi Minh City

Nguyen Thanh Hung, VietJet Air’s Vice Chairman gifted the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung with a model airplane in celebration of the airline’s arrival to Phu Quoc.

  • VietJet Air inaugurated services on the domestic route from Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to Phu Quoc (PQC), serving Vietnam’s largest island in the Gulf of Thailand. The carrier will operate twice-daily frequencies on the route using A320s. Competition on the route comes from Vietnam Airline’s 42 and Air Mekong’s 12 weekly flights.
