Far Eastern Air Transport launches services from Taipei Taoyuan to Lanzhou

• Far Eastern Air Transport inaugurated flights on the 2,100-kilomtre route from Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) to Lanzhou (LHW), the capital of the Gansu Province in Northwest China, on 20 December. The airline, which already offered three Chinese destinations from the Taiwanese airport, launched the new route with twice-weekly departures, both of which will be operated with MD88s. Competition on the route comes from Hainan Airlines, which it matches in terms of frequencies.
