Turkish Airlines adds two destinations in Iran; adds Cameroon as the 96th country in its network

Cameroon's Douala and Yaoundé welcomed four-weekly services from Turkish Airlines in late December, but the airline also expanded in the opposite direction (looking from its Istanbul hub) - to Iran.

  • Turkish Airlines expanded its presence in Iran in the last month of 2012, as it launched twice-weekly services each to Isfahan (IFN) and Kermanshah (KSH), respectively on 19 and 26 December. The airline now offers a total of six destinations in Iran from Istanbul Atatürk (IST). In addition, the airline added Cameroon as the 96th country it serves from its Istanbul hub, and now offers four-weekly flights to Douala (DLA), the country’s largest port city, via the capital Yaoundé (NSI) on the outward leg.
