Air Côte d’Ivoire adds ninth regional destination from Abidjan
Air Côte d’Ivoire, the recently-launched national carrier of Côte d’Ivoire, added its eighth non-stop (and ninth including stopping services) destination from Abidjan (ABJ) on 15 January and now serves Accra (ACC) in Ghana with five-weekly frequencies. The company, which is partially owned by Air France, operates the route using A319. Competition on the 400-kilometre route from Côte d’Ivoire to the neighbouring Ghana comes from Emirates (7 weekly frequencies), Starbow (5), South African Airlines (2), and Eagle Atlantic (1).
