Alitalia resumes services on the route from the Eternal City to Prague

Martina Di Spirito, Alitalia' Support Business Analyst; Justyna Kochanska, Alitalia's Station Manager Ground Operations; Prague Airport's Stanislav Zeman, Director Aivation Business, Marketing and Product Development; Zuzana Kostalova, Alitalia's Sales Manager; and Iveta Strazimiri, Alitalia's Inhouse Sales; performed the ribbon- and cake-cutting ceremonies in Prague to celebrate the airline’s return on the route from Rome Fiumicino.

  • Alitalia resumed flights on 29 January on the route from its Rome Fiumicino (FCO) hub to Prague (PRG), which it last served in January 2004. Twice-weekly departures are offered on the inter-capital route, both will be operated using A320 family aircraft. Three other airlines already operate in the market from Rome to Prague: Czech Airlines (8 weekly frequencies), SmartWings (5) and WizzAir (3).
