AirAsia Japan starts Tokyo Narita to Taipei Taoyuan route

Taipei Taoyuan became AirAsia Japan’s third international destination following Seoul Incheon and Busan in South Korea and was launched in spite of the announced closure of the airline later this year.  features AirAsia Japan in this week’s airline story .

  • AirAsia Japan commenced new international service on 3 July, when it connected its Tokyo Narita (NRT) base and Taipei Taoyuan (TPE). The daily A320-operated service faces competition from China Airlines (24 weekly flights in the week commencing 15 July), EVA Air (14), Japan Airlines (14), ANA (seven), Cathay Pacific (seven), Delta Air Lines (seven) and Scoot (seven).
