Operated by SkyWest, United Airlines resumed the 1,890-kilometre route between Ohio’s Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas. The flights commenced on 25 September using CRJ 700s, and are flown six times weekly without competition.
- United Airlines, the Star Alliance member carrier, has resumed services between Cleveland, OH (CLE) and Austin, TX (AUS) on 25 September. The 1,890-kilometre sector is operated by SkyWest Airlines with a six weekly schedule using CRJ 700s and has no competition. Commenting on the service resumption, Frank Spillman, United’s Regional Sales Director – south-west division, said: “In addition to providing an important link between Austin and Cleveland, the new service will offer Austin travellers access to more than 30 other destinations with connections from our Cleveland hub.”
