Tigerair Singapore launches flights to Myanmar

Tigerair Singapore launched its first route to Myanmar on 1 October with the introduction of daily flights to Yangon. The airline will become the sixth carrier to link Singapore and Yangon.   • Tigerair Singapore has started serving Myanmar with the introduction on 1 October of a daily service between Singapore (SIN) and Yangon (RGN). The 1,920-kilometre route is already served by five other airlines; Myanmar Airlines (10 weekly flights), SilkAir (nine), Golden Myanmar Airlines, Jetstar Asia and Singapore Airlines (each with seven). This is Tigerair Singapore’s fourth new route of 2013. The previous three have all been to destinations in Indonesia.
