TAP Portugal adds new services to Cape Verde and Morocco

  • TAP Portugal added two new African routes to its network from Lisbon (LIS) on 27 October, as it launched services to Boa Vista (BVC) in Cape Verde and to Tangier (TNG) in northern Morocco. TAP Portugal, which already operates six weekly flights to Sal, five weekly to Praia and twice-weekly to Sao Vincente in Cape Verde, now offers twice-weekly schedule to Boa Vista using A319s. Competition on the 2,800-kilometre route comes from TACV Airlines’ single weekly flights. Five weekly flights to Tangier are TAP Portugal’s third service to Morocco (it already operates six weekly flight to Casablanca and four weekly to Marrakech) and are operated using Beech 1900D Airliner.
