Allegiant Air touches down in Clarksburg and Oklahoma City

  • Allegiant Air has added two more destinations to its ever-expanding network of airports served in the US. Clarksburg, WV (CKB) and Oklahoma City, OK (OKC) are now both connected to the airline’s major base at Orlando Sanford, FL (SFB) with twice-weekly flights. Characteristically, no other carrier serves either route. Speaking at the launch of the Clarksburg route, Richard B. Rock, airport director at North Central West Virginia Airport in Clarksburg, said: “We are extremely excited to partner with Allegiant to provide North Central West Virginia residents with an opportunity to save when they bundle their travel packages to our number-one travel destination, sunny Orlando, Florida. For several years, we have aggressively pursued travel opportunities for the citizens of North Central West Virginia, and our partnership with Allegiant is the start of a new beginning.” Speaking at the launch of the Oklahoma City route, airport director Mark Kranenburg, said: “Allegiant’s new service provides Oklahoma City’s travelling public a great, affordable option to one of our most popular destinations. We believe this newest air service addition will greatly benefit our customers and be very successful.”
