Thai AirAsia connects Krabi and Singapore with daily flights

In Krabi the first flight from Singapore with Thai AirAsia was welcomed by (left to right): Janya Panjapaeree of Krabi International Airport; Plengyot Skolkitivat, President of The Krabi Chamber of Commerce; Wiyada Srirangkul, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Krabi Office; Ittirit Kinglek, Vice President-Regional Strategy of The Krabi Chamber of Commerce; and Chawapak Saengsuriya, Thai AirAsia’s Krabi Station Manager. Note, the A320 used on the inaugural flight is promoting Thai rock band Carabao’s 30th anniversary.

  • Thai AirAsia now connects Krabi (KBV) with Singapore (SIN). Daily flights on the 920-kilometre sector began on 25 November, and will be flown with the airline’s A320s. Competition comes from Tigerair Singapore who also operate daily flights. The AirAsia Group of airlines now operates well over 40 daily flights from Singapore Changi Airport to 16 destinations.
