- Germania launched its second service to Moscow Domodedovo (DME), this time from Leipzig (LEJ) on 5 December, joining the carrier’s existing service from Bremen (next week will also see the airline launch services to the Russian capital from Karlsruhe-Baden). The A319-operated, twice-weekly, 1,740-kilometre sector will be flown on Thursdays and Sundays, and is only the carrier’s second service from Leipzig, joining its existing flights to Bremen. There is no direct competition on this exact airport-pair, and there are also no services to the other main Moscow airports from Leipzig.
