Regent Airways’ first arrival in Singapore from Dhaka on 14 December was welcomed by rain. The service will operate five times weekly using the airline’s 737-700s and will bring to four the number of airlines serving the market.
- Regent Airways has selected Singapore (SIN) as its fourth international destination from Dhaka (DAC). On 14 December the airline began operating five weekly flights on the 2,880-kilometre route using 737-700s. There is plenty of competition on the route provided by; Tigerair Singapore (10 weekly flights), Singapore Airlines (seven) and Biman Bangladesh Airlines (six). Regent Airways’ other international routes from Dhaka are Bangkok, Kolkata and Kuala Lumpur.
