SWISS adds four more routes from its Geneva hub

SWISS’ new service from London Gatwick Airport was inaugurated with a ribbon cutting on 14 December. The thrice-weekly services will be operated on Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The launch of SWISS’ four weekly services from Stockholm Arlanda to Geneva was marked by a senior delegation, the airline’s flight crew and officials on 15 December at the Swedish airport’s gate.

  • SWISS, which is part of the Lufthansa Group, added four new routes to its offering during the course of last week. With the longest sector being the 1,687-kilometre service from Geneva (GVA) to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN), and the shortest being again from the airline’s hub, but this time to London Gatwick (LGW) at 716 kilometres, the Star Alliance member faces direct competition on three out of the four new services.
