Pegasus Asia took delivery of its own 737-400 back in November. The aircraft has recently been used to start domestic flights in Kyrgyzstan between the capital Bishkek and Osh, a distance of just 300 kilometres. Further network expansion is planned from Bishkek during 2014.
- Pegasus Asia, the joint venture created by Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines and Air Manas of Kyrgyzstan, has launched its first domestic route in Kyrgyzstan. On 20 December service was started between the capital, Bishkek (FRU), and Osh (OSS), a sector length of just 300 kilometres. There will be a total of 11 weekly frequencies, operated by the airline’s recently acquired 737-400, and competition will come from Kyrgyzstan Aircompany (23 weekly flights), Avia Traffic Company (14 weekly flights) and Air Bishkek (twice-weekly flights).
