Rotana Jet starts Al Bateen service to Muscat

  • Rotana Jet, which is headquartered at Abu Dhabi Al Bateen (AZI), inaugurated services from its home airport to Muscat (MCT) on 25 December. The thrice-weekly operation will be flown by the airline’s 50-seat ERJ 145s. Flights on the 400-kilometre sector will face no direct competition on the airport pair, however the city pair has 53 competing weekly services, split between Air India Express (three), British Airways (seven), Etihad Airways (21), Kuwait Airways (one) and Oman Air (21), all of which are operated from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Muscat.
