  • United Airlines expanded its domestic network on 20 December, with a new seasonal service from Denver, CO (DEN) to Fort Myers, FL (RSW). The 2,585-kilometre sector will be operated thrice-weekly, utilising the Star Alliance member’s 154-seat 737-800s. The airline’s eighth route to Fort Myers will see a frequency increase to daily from 7 January and is scheduled to be operated until 7 April. Competition on the new route is provided by Frontier Airlines’ five weekly flights.
