NextJet’s Oslo Torp to Stockholm Arlanda
Oslo Torp Airport celebrated with this fantastic cake the introduction of NextJet’s nine weekly flights to Stockholm Arlanda on 10 February.
However, the celebrations started one day before on 9 February, when Stockholm Arlanda Airport marked NextJet’s new services to Pori and Kokkola in Finland, which will be operated utilising Saab 340s.
- NextJet expanded its presence in Scandinavia with three new services from its Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) base, all of which are served by the carrier’s 32-seat Saab 340s. On 9 February, the airline launched 17 weekly flights from Sweden’s capital to Pori (POR) and Kokkola (KOK) in Finland, with the latter being served through five non-stop weekly flights as well as 12 weekly flights via Pori (POR). In addition, the Swedish regional operator inaugurated its first route to Norway on 10 February with the introduction of the 489-kilometre sector to Oslo Torp (TRF), which is operated nine times weekly. There is no direct competition on these airport pairs, but Norwegian (40) and SAS (73) provide indirect competition on the services to Oslo, by serving Oslo Gardermoen from Arlanda. NextJet is examined in more detail in this week’s airline profile.
