Ethiopian Airlines adds third Chinese route
Ethiopian Airlines celebrated with a cake the launch of its Addis Ababa to Shanghai Pudong service on 29 March. This is the carrier’s third route to China, as it already flies to Beijing and Guangzhou Baiyun.

- Ethiopian Airlines expanded its long-haul network with the addition of a new service from Addis Ababa (ADD) to Shanghai Pudong (PVG) on 29 March. The 8,839-kilometre sector will be served daily, utilising the carrier’s 269-seat 787-8s. Ethiopian’s third route to China, as it already serves Beijing and Guangzhou Baiyun, will face no competition from other carriers.
