germanwings grows presence in Düsseldorf

  • germanwings continues to inherit more of Lufthansa’s unwanted German regional airport network. The start of the summer 2014 season marked a major handover of the airline’s routes from Düsseldorf (DUS). Several more routes will be handed over during the course of the summer season. Apart from the Düsseldorf routes the lower-cost Lufthansa subsidiary has also started new routes from Berlin Tegel (TXL), Cologne Bonn (CGN) and Hamburg (HAM).
