Widerøe adds 15th Norwegian route from Bergen
Widerøe’s 15th Norwegian domestic route, from Alesund to Bergen, was celebrated with a special cake on 30 March. The regional airline will compete with SAS’s 17 weekly flights on the new airport pair.

- Widerøe, the Norwegian regional airline, added another destination to its domestic network with the addition of daily flights from Bergen (BGO) to Alesund (AES). The carrier’s operations on the 257-kilometre route began on 30 March, utilising a mixed fleet of its 50-seat Q300s and 78-seat Q400s. Widerøe’s 15th Norwegian route from Bergen will face direct competition from SAS’ 17 weekly flights.
