t’way air launches first Chinese route from Seoul Incheon

Say it with flowers. t’way air’s inaugural flight on 3 April from Seoul Incheon to Jinan in China was celebrated with flowers for the flight and cabin crew. The airline’s twice-weekly flights will compete with those of Korean Air (daily) and Shandong Airlines (thrice-weekly).

  • t’way air became the third carrier to offer non-stop flights between Seoul Incheon (ICN) and Jinan (TNA) in China, when it began twice-weekly flights (Mondays and Thursdays) on the 875-kilometre route on 3 April, using its 737-800s. Competition is provided by Korean Air (daily flights) and Shandong Airlines (thrice-weekly). This becomes t’way air’s fifth route from Seoul Incheon, complementing three routes to Japan (Chengdu, Fukuoka and Saga) and one to Thailand (Bangkok).
