germanwings gets another new route brace going for S14

  • germanwings has used the last week to start two new routes from its Hamburg (HAM) base: the first to Bergen (BGO) is replacing a former Lufthansa service, and becomes the airline’s second Norwegian destination; the second is a new service to Rijeka (RJK), the LCC’s third destination in Croatia served from Hamburg. Both services started on 27 April, are flown weekly (Sundays) and are uncompeted routes. The Bergen service will be operated by germanwings’ 90-seat CRJ 900s, whereas the Rijeka route will utilise the airline’s 150-seat A319s. Additionally, the Croatian service will be increased to twice-weekly during the peak months of July and August.
