- flydubai, despite the on-going runway restrictions at Dubai (DXB), has still managed to launch two new routes to India during the last week. On Monday 1 June it began four times weekly flights to Delhi (DEL), followed on Tuesday 2 June by thrice weekly flights to Kochi (COK). Both routes will be served by the airline’s expanding fleet of 737-800s, and both face intense competition, not only from Emirates, but also a variety of Indian carriers.
