Aegean Airlines adds five new routes

Aegean Airlines launched its first service to Cologne Bonn

On 3 June Aegean Airlines launched its first service to Cologne Bonn Airport. The twice-weekly service (Tuesdays and Fridays) from Thessaloniki was welcomed by Tobias Lyssy, Head of Business Development & Airline Marketing, Cologne Bonn Airport (left).

  • Aegean Airlines launched five new European routes during the last week, two from Athens (ATH) and three from Thessaloniki (SKG). All routes are between 1,100 kilometres and 1,700 kilometres in length, and will be served with between two and four weekly flights using the airline’s narrowbody Airbus aircraft. Proving that Aegean Airlines is not afraid of competition, all five routes are already served by other carriers. Beirut (BEY), Cologne Bonn (CGN) and Rostov-on-Don (ROV) are new destinations for the Greek carrier, which recently celebrated 15 years of operations.
