- Blue Air, the Romanian low-cost carrier, commenced its third route to Germany with the addition of thrice-weekly operations from Bucharest (OTP) to Cologne Bonn (CGN) on 16 June. The 1,579-kilometre sector will be operated utilising the airline’s 162-seat 737-400s and will face no competition from other operators. The Romanian LCC is also serving the German market with thrice-weekly flights to Stuttgart from both Bucharest and Sibiu.
