Air Canada adds fourth route to Italy

On 19 June, Milan Malpensa Airport celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a press conference the inaugural flight of Air Canada to Toronto Pearson.

  • Air Canada, the flag carrier and largest airline of Canada, commenced its fourth service to Italy, this time linking Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Milan Malpensa (MXP) on 18 June. The 6,629-kilometre sector to the primary gateway of Milan will be served five times weekly, utilising the Star Alliance member’s 209-seat 767-300s. However, during the winter period this service will see a frequency decrease to thrice-weekly. There is no competition on Air Canada’s new airport pair.
